Ingredients

  • 1 - 9 inch baked pie shell
  • 2 - 3.4 oz Banana Cream Jell-O Instant Pudding and Pie Filling
  • 2 Cups Milk cold
  • 2 C Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 6 Tablespoons Confectioners sugar
  • 4 large bananas sliced

Instructions

  • In a large bowl add 2 packages of instant banana cream pudding and pie filling. Add 2 cups ice cold cups of milk. Mix with wire whisk until well combined and thickened. Cover and chill while making the homemade whipped cream.
  • In the bowl of your mixer, using the wire whisk attachment, add whipping cream. Add vanilla. Mix on high until mixture begins to thicken. Turn mixer to low speed and add powder sugar. Return mixer to high. Beat until thick and stiff peaks form.
  • Add 1½ cups of whipping cream to chilled banana pudding mixture. Fold until well combined.
  • Arrange sliced bananas to the bottom of the pie crust.* Pour Banana Pudding cream filling over the top of the sliced banana. Using a spatula spread banana cream filling evenly making sure the filling reaches the edges of the crust.
  • Top with remaining whipped cream. Garnish with slices of banana and mint. Chill 2 hours or overnight. Slice and serve.

*You can add sliced bananas to the banana cream mixture and then pour into the pie shell. Either method works well with the pie.
