Best Slow Cooker Ground Beef Chili

- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 15 ounce can chili beans in chili sauce
- 1 15 ounce can Kidney beans, drained
- 1 6 ounce can tomato paste
- 2 14.5 ounce cans diced tomatoes
- 2 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 large yellow onion chopped or 1/4 cup dried minced onions
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 small can diced green chili peppers
- 1/4 cup chili powder
- 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon coarse black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon white sugar or brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce e.g. Tabasco
In a large skillet brown ground beef. Drain.
In an 8 quart slow cooker add ground beef and all the remaining ingredients. Stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or cook on high for 4 hours. Stirring occasionally.
Top with grated cheese, chopped green onion, sour cream, and Frito chips if so desired.
