Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 15 ounce can chili beans in chili sauce
  • 1 15 ounce can Kidney beans, drained
  • 1 6 ounce can tomato paste
  • 2 14.5 ounce cans diced tomatoes
  • 2 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 large yellow onion chopped or 1/4 cup dried minced onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 small can diced green chili peppers
  • 1/4 cup chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon coarse black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar or brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce e.g. Tabasco

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet brown ground beef. Drain.
  • In an 8 quart slow cooker add ground beef and all the remaining ingredients. Stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or cook on high for 4 hours. Stirring occasionally.
  • Top with grated cheese, chopped green onion, sour cream, and Frito chips if so desired.
