Growing up, Thanksgiving dinner was always a big family affair. Grandma’s delicious Cranberry Apple Walnut Jello Salad was always a favorite. It’s loaded with fresh cranberries, apples, and lots of walnuts. I’ve kicked it up with a pretty scoop of vanilla nutmeg whipped cream.
Holiday Salads
I love chopped salads loaded with all kinds of amazing flavorful ingredients. This Chopped Autumn Harvest Salad is THAT salad! Chopped romaine lettuce is paired with dried cherry flavored cranberries, candied pecans, feta cheese, fresh chopped apples, crispy breaded chicken tenders and bacon. BACON!!! How can you go wrong with a salad that has bacon? Not possible! Top that all off with an amazingly easy and delicious creamy poppy seed balsamic dressing and you have my new FAVORITE fall Salad! I think we are going to be Besties!
I’ve been dying to make this salad and share it with y’all! It’s my very favorite Fall salad and it’s out of this world! Tangy blue cheese, fruity sliced pears, creamy avocado, and crunchy candied pecans are all pulled together with an amazing mustard garlic vinaigrette dressing! If your mouth has been looking for a flavor explosion this is it! It’s so easy to make and so impressive to serve. I love to serve this salad during the Holidays but, truth be told, it’s great for week day lunch with friends! You will impress everyone when you make this salad…just be sure to invite me over when you do!
