I love cinnamon sugar donuts! Unfortunately I am always craving them on a Saturday morning when the last thing I want to do is get showered and dressed and run the 15 miles into town to grab one! So I always keep a handy dandy can of Pillsbury Grand Biscuits around so when the craving hits, and trust me…it will, I am ready to make these easy quick and delicious donuts!
Easy Recipes
I made an executive North Pole decision! I decided the Santa at your Nest would rather have hot tender Italian flavored Roast Beef Sandwiches on toasted hoagie rolls with melted provolone cheese, sauteed onions, sweet peppers, and mushrooms, than sugar cookies and milk! I’m not saying it’s cause I don’t have my Christmas cookies ready to post…NOPE…that’s not it at all! Come on admit it…your Santa would rather have one of these sandwiches any way. Right?!!!
Last month I promised I would share my family’s all-time favorite pie! THIS IS IT!!! Chocolate Chiffon Pie has been a favorite of not only my immediate family, but my extended family, since the day my Mom rolled it out on dessert table at a family holiday dinner! From that day to this… it is still the MOST requested pie at any family gathering! Beware…if you make it once you’ll be making it again, and again, and again, and again…

Who doesn’t love Mexican Food?! What’s not to love! All that ooey-gooey cheese, shredded meat, beans, and rich flavorful sauces! Stuff that inside a crispy crunchy golden flour tortilla and top it off with more sauce, melted cheese, maybe a little more cheese,…maybe a little more, and you have a the ultimate in Chimichanga’s. What I like to call the Grand Daddy of the Burrito family!
Big, warm, squishy, soft, gooey, scrumptious Cinnamon Rolls! Who doesn’t love ’em?! I know I’m in love with these Lion House Cinnamon Rolls! I know you will be too!
On the carboliciousness scale they are off the charts! Add in the bonus that you can make these beauties on the dough cycle in your bread machine… and these babies are hands down the BEST and EASIEST cinnamon rolls that will ever pass your lips! Here at “Norine’s Nest” I am all about down home everyday cooking! You know…comfort foods! There’s not a lot of “fluff” in my recipes and meal plans. I’m not a gourmet chef and I’m not trained professionally. I just try to come up with recipes you will want to serve to your family at your “Nest”. Casseroles are just a “main stay” here at Norine’s Nest! I can’t think of a better comfort food than a delicious casserole. I grew up on them. Casseroles are cozy, heartwarming, and say “Home”. They fill little bellies, Daddy bellies, and growing teenage bellies with goodness and love! Let’s face it, every meal a mother, or father, makes is made with love. It’s our way of making sure our family is fed and taken care of. Every act of service we render is out of love for those in our little Nests! This Chicken Noodle Casserole is one such act of love. It’s cozy, it’s warm, it comforting. It goes together quickly too! Which is even better for all us busy Mom and Dad’s trying to do 36 hours of work in a 24 hour day!
A tender, moist, spiced pumpkin muffin loaded with flavor and a scrumptious cinnamon crumb topping, drizzled with a vanilla glaze. It’s the perfect Fall treat!
