I have a confession. I’ve always struggled cooking Chinese food! I feel confident in a lot of cooking and baking areas, but Chinese food has been my nemesis. I make a wonderful sweet and sour chicken…stir fry…not so much. Until my friends at JSL Foods Inc. sent me a box loaded with their Yakisoba Noodles. Now, not to steal Leonardo’s thunder…”I’m Queen of the Stir Fry!” Well, maybe not “Queen” but they have made making stir fry a million times easier and a bazillion times more delicious! Like my new Teriyaki and Veggie Noodle Stir Fry. I could eat this 4 times a week and be happy!
I love Mexican food! (I think we have established that?) Love may be a little on the understated side as far as adjectives go. It’s more an obsession/adoration! The flavors, the smells…the CHEESE! It’s all there. During the week though… time is limited. So I put together this “easy” recipes for White Chicken Enchilada’s. The sauce is 3 ingredients and the Rotisserie chicken and packaged grated cheese make this dish a breeze to make!
As a food blogger I see hundreds of new recipes every week. It’s just part of the job, and one I absolutely enjoy. I love seeing what other bloggers are busy creating in their kitchens. Last week I spotted this luscious looking dish! Everything about it looked amazing! From the crispy golden pan seared chicken thighs (I love the flavor of chicken thighs) to the scrumptious sweet honey garlic sauce! The word “Easy” was thrown in for added enticement and I took the bait! I’m SO glad I did! You will be too! This is one amazingly easy, flavorful, and inexpensive dish! You have got to try this one friends! Trust me. You do don’t ya?
I love a recipe that can be made into two different meals. Both equally delicious. Life is crazy busy so if I can get two meals out of one recipe I’m all in! How about you?
These stuffed shells bounce off the back of my recipe for Crock Pot Meatballs With Sauce. One night you can have meatball subs or spaghetti and meatballs, the other these amazing cheese stuffed shells, covered in sauce with tender Parmesan and beef meatballs. It’s the perfect dish to add your busy weeknight meal plan!
I love food! All food…but I really love comfort food! I know… it’s a word that’s tossed around a lot in the blogging world, but in all fairness, I have to say that the majority of foods fill a need. For some it’s comfort, for others happiness, joy, sorrow, sadness, or stress. I mean food feeds our emotions, as well as our bellies! If it didn’t there wouldn’t be so many foodies out there all looking for that one optimal dish.
One of my favorite “comfort” foods is Chicken Pot Pie. Maybe it’s the memories of those little frozen pies by banquet when I was kid, or maybe it’s because the combination of ingredients is like Thanksgiving in a pie shell? Whatever the reason, it’s still a favorite. I spent years looking for the perfect recipe and then just decided to make my own. I wanted one loaded with “the good stuff”! Lots of meat, vegetables, and a creamy gravy, all packed inside the perfect flaky crust. I hope you’ll agree…this pot pie is the perfect “comfort food”!
Cold enough out there for you? Craving a hot warm hearty bowl of Soup? One that is more than just a bowl of soup, a meal? I’ve got just the recipe! It’s chocked full of beef, noodles, rich Italian broth, and topped with cheese and fresh basil. This deliciously rich and flavorful Italian Beefy Noodle Soup is easy to make. It’s the perfect winter meal. Throw in a side of garlic Parmesan bread sticks for dunking and it’s over the top Fab!

If you don’t think you can cook… this is your recipe! It’s rich, creamy, and the perfect comfort food for a cold winters day. I like to call it “snow day” soup but, you can just call it wonderful!
Nothing goes with a warm bowl of chili or taco soup on a cold winter’s day, like a moist piece of buttery sweet corn bread! In the South it’s a staple on every Holiday dinner table. Today I’m sharing my favorite recipe for corn bread. It’s sweet! It’s moist! It’s buttery! And most of all…it’s GOOD!
We’re kicking Monday off right! I have the perfect easy weeknight recipe for your Nest. Easy Chicken Parmesan! I discovered this recipe years ago while sitting in the dentist office! (Yuck!) Of course I had to add my own twist and kick it up a notch or two, but it’s still super simple to throw together and it’s sure to be a hit at your dinner table!
