Fall just isn’t Fall at this Nest until I’ve made my Double Caramel Apples! I ramp it up… of course… by adding chopped nuts and drizzled chocolate! This is one of our favorite Fall treats! It’s a family tradition! I’ve been making this recipe for the past 18 years! You’ll be shocked how they taste just like those expensive apples you buy from a certain Rocky Chocolate Store for a fraction of the cost. They are so easy to make! We all love this ooey gooey treat! I hope you do too!
Tender juicy chicken nuggets dipped in a light batter and fried to a golden crisp served with a homemade sweet and sour sauce and sprinkled with fresh vegetables and served over Fried Rice all come together in this outstanding Sweet and Sour Chicken!
Salted caramel is all the rage right now and rightly so! I decided to jump on the band wagon! Boy am I glad I did! These Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies are the VERY BEST cookie I have EVER made or eaten! This recipe makes a big batch of cookies, but you can cut the recipe in half so don’t let that scare you off. You don’t want to miss making these! Mars and I just about went into a cookie coma over here at our Nest this weekend gorging ourselves on these beauties! I’m proud to say these are my own creation and it was worth burning a few brain cells to come up with them! You NEED these in your life! They are every bit as good as they look! Can you tell I’m in love with this cookie! I really am!
A tender, moist, spiced pumpkin muffin loaded with flavor and a scrumptious cinnamon crumb topping, drizzled with a vanilla glaze. It’s the perfect Fall treat!
Crispy cabbage and romaine lettuce blend harmoniously with crunchy wonton strips, toasted almonds, and savory sesame dressing. Topped with tender pieces of Deli General Tso’s chicken, each bite offers a delightful combination of textures and tastes, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.
If you’re looking for a GREAT carrot cake this is it! It always receives rave reviews when I serve this cake! Even to those who aren’t carrot cake fans love this cake. I searched high and low to find this recipe. I wanted one without raisins, because they are evil and should not be in baked goods…but one that was packed with all kinds of other fantastic ingredients! The stars of this cake are all winners…coconut, crushed pineapple and chopped walnuts! All brought together with a fluffy cream cheese frosting.
Angel Chicken Pasta. Baked chicken breast are served with a delectably rich sauce made with butter, dry Italian salad dressing, white wine, cream cheese with chives, and golden mushroom soup.
I’m always looking for new ways to make pork chops! I especially love finding casseroles or slow cooker ideas…so this delicious creamy wild rice, mushroom, and Pork Chop Casserole is a great recipe!
It’s Tip Tuesday! I’m sharing my handy dandy tip for making early morning breakfast smoothies a breeze. I’m sure we have, or have had, that one child who is always running late and never has time for breakfast. I realized when my daughter was a Senior in High School I had to come up with a healthy, quick, and delicious breakfast she would actually want and that she could consume while driving to school. She loves fruit so I realized I could do smoothies, but buying frozen fruit can be expensive! I wanted something really quick and easy. This was my solution. I hope it helps you too! This is perfect for everyone! Working Mom’s, toddlers, college students, anyone who doesn’t have a lot of time in the morning, but wants to have a delicious and nutritious breakfast.
