One of the first main dishes I made, were these yummy easy ground beef enchilada’s. I was in High School and eager to make anything with hamburger that wasn’t “meatloaf” or “spaghetti”! We all have our limits! lol Years later…it’s still one of my very favorite quick tasty family meals. The only thing to change over the years? The enchilada sauce. I make my own now…but you can still use canned! This is a dish your family will love!

When it comes to Pie…I think the debate has been going on for decades…Cherry or Apple? I personally love them both. However, I do tend to think of “Cherry” as a “summer” pie and Apple as a “fall” pie! However, you think of them… this Traditional Cherry Pie made with Tart Red Cherries, a subtle sweet filling, and it’s ultra flaky crust will have you cheering for team Cherry! Unless you don’t like Cherries…and then my friend…you have much bigger problems than I can help with! lol
I decided to take the “plunge” and try my hand at a “No-churn” Ice Cream. I was intrigued with the simplicity of the recipe. I wondered if it could really be THAT easy? The good news…It is that EASY to make! The great news? It’s the creamiest ice cream I’ve ever had! Not a cherry fan? You can add in your favorite mix-in’s. The best part of all… Summer just got a whole lot tastier!
Is there anything better than a REALLY easy recipe that is also REALLY tasty? I don’t think so! Which is why this is one of my all time favorite dinner recipes! It’s a simple Pork Sirloin Tip Roast rubbed with spices we all have on hand in our pantries. It cooks in your slow cooker so no heating up the kitchen! Shred the cooked pork, load up your roasted flour tortilla’s with simple sides, and you’ve got one of our favorite Sunday Suppers!
Calling all Rhubarb Lovers! This luscious coffee cake is an irresistible way to start the day…or end it! Any day you can have cake for Breakfast is a good day! I’ve been dying to make this moist flavor packed crumb cake for months. The crumb is the “Non-icing” on top of the cake! If you’re not a Rhubarb lover…add a different fruit! This cake is so out of the this world crazy good not to try it!
My kids ran a snow cone stand for over 6 years right out in front of our house! It was a great learning experience for all of us. Above and Beyond that…they made the BEST Snow Cones! The secret was our homemade snow cone syrup! With just three ingredients and an inexpensive snow cone shaver, you too can have a summer filled with these fun, flavorful treats! Best part…they just cost pennies to make! I LOVE SNOW CONES!
This 4th of July when you stoke up the grill … kick it up a notch with these appetizing Seattle Hot Dogs. I stumbled upon this palatable delight a few years ago when I wanted to kick-up my “hot dog” game. I figured if Seattle had created a dog good enough to be named after it…then it had to be AMAZING! It is mind blowing good! A true Taste Treat!
I’ve had so many of you write to me telling me how much you love my Country Hamburger Skillet, Thank You, and you’re always looking for quick, easy, economical hamburger recipes. Me too! So, I whipped up this delicious Hamburger Mexican Skillet Dinner. Your just one pound of ground beef away from scrumptiousness…well that a few other small ingredients…but that line sounded so good!
If Willy Wonka and his buddies, the Oompa Loompa’s were going to make “The BEST Dark Chocolate Cake” in that magical chocolate factory…this would be it! This is the chocolate cake dreams are made of! Raise your hand if you’re a Cafe Rio or Costa Vida Fan! (Man it’s hard to type with one hand!) Yep! I’m a Fresh Mex Lover and their flavorful pinto beans with hints of cumin and mildly spicy green chilies are one of my very favorites! This recipe is a perfect match…maybe even better! The flavors are out of this world.
