Looking for a really scrumptious breakfast pastry that will feed a crowd? This is it! I’m having this love affair with Wewalkausa refrigerated puff pastry. It offers so many delicious options. Today I’m sharing my recipe for Cherry Lemon Danish. It may seem like a crazy combination…but the flavors are AMAZING together…plus there are those 64 flaky layers!

I love coffee cakes with that cinnamon sugar crumb topping! So, it would only make sense that I would LOVE a baked donut with that same yummy mouth watering crumb topping. I can’t claim this recipe as my own… because it isn’t. This one belongs to Ashley at Baker By Nature. I did do a little “tweaking” by adding chopped almonds to the crumb mixture and a splash of buttermilk to the dough for a little extra moisture. Who needs a donut shop when you can have these ready in a matter of minutes!
I love puff pastry. It is not something, however, I will EVER make from scratch. I’m just not that insane….yet! I think one of the most mouth-watering experiences is walking into a pastry shop with every kind of magical danish calling to you from behind the glass. You just know it will be love at first bite. These little Cherry Cream Cheese Knots are just that type of Danish and best part…You made them!
A year ago I discovered I had a secret Quiche lover living at my house. You’ll never believe who it was? I’m still in shock! So just to test if they truly were as much a Quiche lover as they claimed to be…I made this ultra delicious loaded vegetable Quiche. Three slices later it…yup…it passed the test! Quiche is a perfect brunch dish. It’s easy to make yet elegant to serve!
If you want to elevate your brunch game, and who doesn’t… you have got to try these amazing light and flaky buttermilk scones! I made them for my Mother’s Day Brunch. To say they were the most delectable scone I have ever had would be an understatement. What I love about this scone recipe is how easy it is to make with ingredients you probably have on hand. Honestly this recipe will not disappoint. I promise! (I take scone promises VERY seriously!!!)
I love Lemon Curd! What I don’t love is the work involved in making it. I’m not a big fan of any recipe that calls for a “double-boiler”. I cringe just typing it. I know when I hear the word “double-boiler” it means there will be a lot of time and attention required to make that recipe. So when I ran across this recipe for Lemon Curd made in your Microwave…I was SO excited. I was a little worried how it would turn out…I didn’t need to be…it turned out AMAZING! The BEST Lemon Curd EVER!
There’s nothing worse than ordering an omelette and having the out side crispy brown and tough! Yet so many restaurants seem to serve them that way! Over cooked eggs are…to quote my favorite 3 year old… “Icky”! YIKES! Nothing worse than “Icky” eggs! So I’m not only sharing this AMAZING Sausage Veggie Omelette recipe…I’m sharing my tips for PERFECT omelettes…tender, fluffy, and delicious! Best thing about Omelette’s…they’re great for breakfast OR dinner!! Especially when you just need dinner for two!
I’ve been drooling over all the amazing recipes I’ve seen on Instagram and Pinterest with blood oranges. I’ve been dying to make something with them forever. I had one problem! Not one store in my cute country town carried them. So I went on the hunt last time we went to the “city” and I found them! Eureka!!! I was so happy I bought a bag full and then realized I wasn’t sure what to do with them. (I kind of wanted to put them in a treasure chest and bury them!) Then it hit me…How about sweet blood orange rolls…I am so, so, glad for that moment of inspiration! Blood Oranges have a hint of raspberry flavor and they are sublime in these light fluffy rolls!
Looking for the perfect Valentines Breakfast for that special someone? I’ve come up with the BEST Valentines Breakfast EVER! I created it just for you and all the loves at your Nest! Don’t want a bunch of tipsy chicks!) drizzled with a heavenly Fresh Amaretto Cream. Cupids arrow is going to go right through your heart after the first fork full! It will make you fall in love with Breakfast again! Pssst…you can make it just for yourself too! Hey, if your like me…FOOD is your LOVE!
I love cinnamon sugar donuts! Unfortunately I am always craving them on a Saturday morning when the last thing I want to do is get showered and dressed and run the 15 miles into town to grab one! So I always keep a handy dandy can of Pillsbury Grand Biscuits around so when the craving hits, and trust me…it will, I am ready to make these easy quick and delicious donuts!
