Game days call for snacks that are as easy to enjoy as they are delicious, and these two-ingredient mini-corn dogs are the ultimate MVPs of appetizers.

Whether you’re a sports enthusiast, looking for an easy game day treat, or just love good food, these mini-corn dogs are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.
I’m almost embarrassed to post this recipe. It’s so insanely easy…but it’s such a fun, quick appetizer idea that I’m going to push my insecurities aside and share it with you anyway! Because that’s what foodie friends do! We share our love of food and simple cooking tips!
I love a good corn dog, so when I saw that the “dough boy” had come out with “corn dog wraps”, I knew instantly that I wanted to create a mini version of the classic favorite.
So, grab your ingredients, let’s get cooking, and enjoy every bite of these delightful mini-treats!”
Ingredients
- Pillsbury corn dog wraps – 8 count, 11.5 ounce, cut each rectangle into 3 strips.
- 24 Hillshire Farms Beef Lit’l Smokies
- 6″ Bamboo Skewers (optional)

How to Make Mini-Corn Dogs
Preheat oven to 375° (F). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place mini Lit’l Smokies on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb the extra liquid from the packaging.

Now for the scary part…you have to bust open that Pillsbury can of corn bread wraps. (I’m gonna pray for you and your nerves!) Go ahead, I’ll wait right here!
Unroll the dough; separate into 8 rectangles. Cut each rectangle into 3 individual strips.

Place one mini little smokie lengthwise on each dough rectangle.
Wrap the dough around each little smokie. Pinch seam to seal. Place seam-side down on the parchment-lined cookie sheet. Continue until you have wrapped each mini-corndog in the corn dog wrappers.
If you want, but it isn’t necessary, you can insert a bamboo stick into the end of a little smokie. You can also make them without sticks.

Baking & Serving Instructions
Bake for 17 to 21 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the baking sheet and place on a serving tray.
You can top each one with either ketchup or mustard. I drew football laces on the top of mine for Super Bowl Sunday! However, you can also serve them with mini-cups of mustard or ketchup. You could even serve them with my J-dawg’s sauce or Hot Honey!

I love serving them on sticks for fun. It makes them a treat that is easy to dip for your guests!

If you’re making these for game day, you can make them ahead of time and cover them until ready to bake.
You can store the leftovers in an airtight container. Just pop them in the microwave to reheat and eat.
